Exploring the Mainland

Something I don't do often enough - RL work has been extremely intense lately so on a break I'm finding this pleasant - grab a horse, and ride a Linden Road. I've chosen the outermost road that circles the Atoll continent, which is the continent where my own Nitida Ridge is found.

I have to curb the shopping monster in me though - I've found some pretty nice shops along the way!

Heating/haunting up on the Ridge

Hallowe'en is starting to make itself seen on the Ridge, and that can be so much fun! Shamanes' Horacios & Lucio playing; Horacios really getting into the spirit (or is the spirit getting into him ?

Think Monti should add "Stir It Up" to his set list? Oh, yeah, what set list? Anyway, things were heating up and Horacios (Shamanes) stayed to help stir the stew!

Something Christmassy about this Hallowe'en ;-)

Nils

Thanks to Nils Apfelbaum, among other things there be dragons on the Ridge - well sometimes - this is how he came in this morning to enjoy Mimi and Kourosh - though he considerately ARC'ed down into a different avatar while the shows were going on.

Little Blue Island's speedbuild event

I just came from the Sandbox at Little Blue Island where every Friday at 1pm there is a friendly speedbuild competition. The theme could be chosen today, from any of 4 nursery rhymes. I was particularly taken, by this take on Humpty Dumpty, done by Aaack Straaf

I love the sentiment. :-)

Ub Yifu's 0-11 Art at Burning Life

Feels like a return to Planet of the Apes

"George Taylor: You blew it all up…you really did it…"

Jenne Dibou's American Dreamer at Burning Life

Lots of layers to this build - I keep returning and noticing new things :-)

Follow directions once you get there - click around.

Have your sounds on and get close to the sleeper :-)

A 2D snapshot can't do these bubbles justice.

Dizzy Banjo's IO at Burning Life

This build is one to not simply see but experience.

Dizzy was there and I'm hoping he realizes what a treat it is for others that he has shared this.

Posting pics almost seems a spoiler so I'll reserve the rest for when BL is over.
